The Small Axe Helpdesk (formerly “tCH,” the tubecode Helpdesk) was written for a company in Florida. Over time, it developed into a full featured application, complete with email integration, a paging system, on-call hours, groups, auto-prioritizing, and more. With the ability to track tickets, keep progress of your technicians, and build an online knowledgebase, it’s easy for even a small IT shop to get started.
Because the original tCH was built under contract, it was not released via Small Axe Solutions. However, the next version, dubbed Small Axe Helpdesk 1.0, will be available for download when it’s complete and is blessed by the original contractor. The new version incorporates the newest technologies to improve ease of use and expand administrator capabilities.
