While message boards went out of style along with guestbooks in the late 90s, the rise of blogging has given way to a resurgence of online chat and instant communication. Dango 2.1 allows your users to communicate instantly via a simple, non-threaded message board that can run in MySQL or even in a plain text file.
Since Dango supports profanity filtering, it’s easy to snap in to any website, regardless of target audience. And the only requirement is a web server that runs PHP. It couldn’t be any simpler!
Dango 3 is currently in the works, and it aims to be a simple framework for intrasite discussion, one that can prune or archive & aged messages. It will be built as a module that can be included in any other webpage.
